Report on Subaru's US Plant Operations Following the Midwest Tornado Hits
(As of November 18, 2013)

Severe storms and tornadoes struck Midwest US on the afternoon of November 17, 2013.The following is a report related to operations of Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA).

< Extent of the Damage >
Initial reports from SIA indicate that parts of the building and plant have been affected and we are currently trying to evaluate the extent of the damage. Since 17th was a Sunday the plant was not in operation and we are also in the midst of confirming the safety of our employees.

< Operations >
The plant was not in operation when the storm struck on Sunday the 17th. SIA plans to cancel its first-shift production on Monday the 18th and assess the extent of the damage. The operation schedule will be determined according to the situation.
